Inside a Killer's Mind

Although they are synonymous with fear and psychopaths, serial killers have become a huge part of popular culture with their abnormal ways of thinking. Movies like Psycho and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, both of which are based off of serial killer Ed Gein, have even created fame to the names of serial killers all over the world. Along with their manifestos and legacies of murder, these killers leave behind ideologies. What made John Wayne Gacy so fascinating was not just his mode of operation but also his normal and charismatic demeanor that he portrayed. It was the way he thought that brought him attention which is what this excerpt from an interview with serial killer John Hughes attempts to reveal as well. He is asked the ultimate question that any serial killer must come across at some point; "why did you do it?"

  1. I’ve given you a Baseline grade that is viewable in Blackboard. Students have until 12/21/15 to implement suggested changes to their audio projects (see below for specific suggestions) for an updated grade. It is your responsibility to inform me that any changes have been made.

*The introduction would benefit from being rerecorded (sorry about my voice).

*Some sort of ending/tag is needed (although I certainly understand what you were going for).

*A link to the original video needs to be embedded/linkable.

Overall, your use of music is effective, your edits are tight, the length right on point, and the sound-bites nicely selected.
